RTW Progress is an entertainment and personal tracking application. It does not provide professional coaching, certified instruction, or qualified supervision. All content, including videos, progress tracking, and skill demonstrations, is for entertainment and informational purposes only. Always seek professional supervision before attempting any physical activities.
1. Information We Collect
RTW Progress collects the following information:
- Email address and name (for account creation)
- Profile information (username, bio, location)
- Progress data (completed tricks, levels achieved)
- Videos and photos you upload (trick submissions, profile photos)
- Device information (for app functionality)
- Crash reports: when the app crashes or hits an unexpected error, it may send a report of what went wrong in the app's code, with the app and operating-system version, the device model, and a random identifier for this installation of the app that is not connected to your account. A crash report never includes your name, e-mail address, account ID, IP address, or your videos and photos.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Provide and maintain the RTW Progress service
- Track your trampolining and wall running progress
- Enable video submissions for trick validation
- Display your public profile (if enabled)
- Send important account and service updates
- Improve our app and services
3. Information Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only:
- When you choose to make your profile public
- With Run The Wall administrators for trick validation
- With service providers who help us operate the app (hosting, storage, crash reporting)
- When required by law or to protect rights and safety
4. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored securely using industry-standard encryption. We use:
- Google Cloud (Cloud SQL, Australia) for database storage with encryption at rest
- Firebase Authentication for sign-in and password storage
- Cloudflare R2 for secure video and image storage
- Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.) for crash reports, stored in the European Union (Germany)
- HTTPS encryption for all data transmission
- Regular security updates and monitoring
5. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access your personal information
- Update or correct your information
- Delete your account and associated data at any time from the app (Profile → Delete Account) or by requesting it at progress.runthewall.au/delete-account
- Control your profile privacy settings
- Choose which videos appear on your public profile
- Opt out of non-essential communications
When you delete your account
Your account, progress, comments and profile photo are deleted straight away. Your trick videos and their thumbnails are removed from the app and from your public profile at the same time, and kept privately for 6 months, with your name and e-mail address so they can be matched to you, in case they are needed for a safety or legal matter. Only Run The Wall administrators can see them in that time. After 6 months they are deleted automatically.
The same applies to your videos of a trick that Run The Wall removes from the curriculum.
6. Children's Privacy
RTW Progress is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
